The type of tourism that visits the places that are beautiful naturally,
have an amazing scenery.
a. Local Tourism

The tourism that’s only in one area or one
city
ii.
Example : Pulau Bali
b. Regional Tourism
i.
The tourism that includes two cities that
are in the same country
ii.
Example : Jakarta to Mataram
c. Regional – International Tourism
i.
The tourism that includes travels between
two different cities but still in the same area
ii.
Example : Indonesia to Thailand. Both
Indonesia and Thailand are in the South East Asia Area, and together Indonesia
and Thailand are the members of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)
d. International Tourism
i.
The tourism that includes travels between
two or more different countries. Normally, the tourist has to take a flight to
take this kind of tourism
ii.
Example : Indonesia to New York

This type of
tourism happens during or between particular time

i.
The tourism that is only happens during
particular season
ii.
Example : Winter holiday, Spring break, fall
break
b. Occational
i.
The tourism that is happen during a special
occasion that’s held in a region
ii.
Example : Grebeg Maulud in Jogjakarta

The type of tourism that happens because the main reason has a purpose

A visit made to a place for work purposes,
typically one involving a journey of some distances
ii.
Example : Being a reserve for your manager
to attend an International Business Fair in London

i.
A visit made to a place for educational
purposes, typically involving a cultural places
ii.
Example : Study tour, Student Exchange

A visit made to a place for vacational
